Dear colleagues,
尊敬的各位同事：
As you know, my role as CEO of Nokia comes to an end tomorrow.
正如众所周知，我作为诺基亚CEO的任职到明天就结束了。
After 21 years in Nokia and over 14 years as CEO, it’s very difficult to describe all the emotions this change brings into play, let alone put them into words. But I want to stress that I am personally very grateful to all the people I have worked with, both as CEO and during my earlier years in Nokia. Even those people I have not worked directly with have, through their efforts, been a source of inspiration to me. It has been true teamwork on a vast scale and my honor to be part of this team.
在诺基亚度过了21年的职业生涯，期间担任了14年的CEO，这一次人事变动让我百感交集，一时难以表达内心的情感，更不要说把它们付诸于文字。但我想强调的是，我非常感谢那些与我曾经共事过的人们，包括我任职CEO期间和在诺基亚早期的那些岁月里，甚至是那些并没有直接与我共事的人们，他们对工作的努力，都曾经是激励我的源泉。那是一次实实在在的从上至下的团队协作，我很荣幸成为了其中的一员。
As a company, Nokia has changed, succeeded and grown. And we have managed to do this over and over again. And I believe as individuals in this roller coaster ride, we have also changed, succeeded and grown. To me this speaks of character, focus, energy, spirit, dedication, bravery and hard work.
作为一个公司，诺基亚经历了改变，成功和成长。我们一次又一次地把握住这些经历。我相信，乘坐过这辆过山车的每一个员工，也都经历了改变，成功和成长。对于我来说，那意味着个性，专注，活力，热情，奉献，勇气和勤奋。
I have said it several times in recent days - I really feel good about where the company is today. We can be very pleased with our 35% market share of the mobile device market: And I firmly believe that 40% market share is a target that’s within reach, provided Nokia is successful in implementing its strategy in the emerging markets, and in new applications in the multimedia and enterprise space. In Networks we have built a strong global position and the combined strength of networks and handsets benefits both of the businesses. Today, Nokia is a truly global industry leader, and every one of you should take credit for this.
这几天我一直在重复一句话，我对公司目前的状况感到非常的满意。我们很高兴地看到，手机的市场份额已经达到了35%；而且我敢肯定，如果诺基亚的新产品市场，多媒体和企业空间方面的新应用能够按照既定的市场策略成功实施的话，我们一定能达到40%这个目标。在网络产品方面，我们已经在全球占据了强有力的位置。而手机产品和网络产品的双重优势，使它们的业绩相得益彰。今天，诺基亚真正成为了全球的行业领袖，你们每一个人都功不可没。
As the world doesn’t stand still, there are always things that need to be re-thought, changes to be made. It’s an exciting but demanding way to live and work. And the people in Nokia have always met this challenge head on, without flinching, every time. This is part of our DNA. As is taking the initiative, supporting each other, challenging the status quo and not giving in. These are all things I am proud to have been a part of, and things that have helped me to manage the company. The world is facing some new and interesting challenges and Nokia has a great role to play in addressing them.
然而世界不是静止的，很多事情都需要重新去考虑，去改变。生活和工作，需要激情，需要精益求精。在诺基亚工作的人们总是会遇到各种各样的挑战，每一次，都不能退缩。这就是我们的DNA：主动出击，相互支持，挑战难题，永不放弃。作为其中的一员，这些品格让我倍感自豪，是它们帮助我管理着这个跨国公司。当世界在面对这些新挑战的时候，诺基亚成为了中流砥柱。
But now the time is right for me, as well for Nokia, for a change in leadership. New thinking and new blood can only be good for the company. I am very happy that, in a different role, I will still be able to contribute to Nokia’s future. At the same time, my position at XXXXX will certainly present some really interesting new challenges for me personally.
但是现在是时候了，对我对诺基亚来说，都到了改换领导的时候了。注入新的思维，新的血液，对公司来说是再好不过了。我很高兴仍旧能作为另外一个角色继续为诺基亚的未来做出我的贡献。同时，我在XXX的任职，从我个人发展来说，无疑也是一次非常有意义的挑战。
The reason for my career change is very much to do with one of Nokia’s values and cornerstones of our success – renewal. I have always felt very strongly about personal renewal and seeking new opportunities to learn, new ways to influence our surroundings and so play our role in the big scheme of things. This move is another part of my own personal renewal.
我个人职业发展的这次变动，很大程度上也是源于诺基亚的企业价值观和我们成功的基石—变革。我个人非常希望自己的职业生涯能有所改变，能有机会去继续学习，去寻找影响他人的新途径，这样，我们才能大展宏图。这次变动是我个人职业生涯变革的一部份。
Finally, let me say that I have been truly moved by all the kind messages you have sent me in the last few days. It was both unexpected and humbling to receive such a huge amount of wonderful thoughts about the past and wishes for the future. I will cherish these and surely re-read them from time to time. Once again, my sincerest thanks to each and every one of you. All I can say is that it has been a special emotional journey I have had a privilege to be part of - it has truly been an honor to work both in this company and for this company, with all of you.
最后，我想说，最近这几天你们发给我很多美好的祝愿，让我非常的感动。这让我始料不及，又觉得羞愧难当，那是多么真挚的友情，多么美好的祝愿。我会好好珍惜它们，会时时翻阅回味。再一次真诚地感谢你们，感谢你们每一个人。我能说的就是，我很荣幸曾经和你们一起，共同走过这段特殊的感情历程--- 我们努力工作，成就了我们，也成就了公司！
