Scorpions，中文译名为蝎子。在摇滚乐的发展史上他们也占有一席的地位。70年代初的时候就发迹于德国的重工业地区汉诺威，主唱的歌声穿透力极强，有一种震摄人心的地步，吉他手金属质感极强，时而以发泄的方式狂扫，时而极其深情的一段华丽的SOLO，再加上鼓手强有力的打击着鼓点，可以说是欧洲70年代摇滚乐队的中坚力量。
第一次让我记住他们这个乐队是《Wind of change》，很喜欢主唱在歌曲一开始的时候深情的口哨声，伴随着轻柔的电吉他声，接下来是主唱像是在诉说一个故事一样，在听风的转响。很喜欢这首歌的MTV，这首歌可以说是一首反战的摇滚圣歌。像是在讲述着二战的时候德国军队战败后退出沙俄的情景。歌曲一开始就唱着“I follow the Moskva. Down to Gorky Park. Listening to the wind of change.”我们可以很清楚的看到德国军队战败后经过莫斯科和高尔广场。在盛夏的八月里，人们欢呼着胜利，孩子们的梦不再流失，烟火使莫斯科的夜晚更加耀眼。也许是因为他们的这首《Wind of change》所以他们是成为第一支去苏俄演出的重金属乐团。
蝎子乐队的另一首《Always somewhere》是他们的一首摇滚经典情歌。它是《鹅塘暗杀令》这部电影里的插曲。Klaus深情而高吭的唱着“Always somewhere. Miss you where i've been. I'll be back to love you again.”相信曾经也迷倒了一大片的女Scorpions迷。曾经看过蝎子乐队的一个不插电演唱会的MV，几乎在场的乐队迷都会跟着他们一起歌唱。特别是女歌迷们哪种疯狂的地步可以想像Scorpions在他们心目中的地位。
总体上来说，蝎子虽然现在远离了我们，不再是属于我们这个年代的人，但是他们的一些音乐还是属于我们这个年代的。在他们的重金属音乐之中，我们可以找到些许的柔情。时间，只有时间才能见证这一切。所以我们需要时间。
